Installation of Lotus Notes 6 .5.1 on CItrix MetFrame XP 1.0 FR3

1.login to server console as Administrator.
2.From Add/Remove Programs click Add New Programs.
3.Click CD or Floppy.
4.Click Next.
5.Click Browse and Navigate to the location setup.exe on CD or file share.
6.Click Next.
7.Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next.
8.Enter the user name etc....
9.Select to install this application Only for me ( Single User Install) and click Next.
10.Accept the default Installation folder destination for both Program and data files. (C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes and C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes\Data)
11.On the Feature Install window, deselect, Client Help, Modem Files, Client Single Logon Feature, Domino Enterprise Cennectio Services. Click Next.
12.Click Install.
13.Click Finish once complete.

14.Delete the Help folder from C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes\Data
15.Under "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User" create the following sub directory structure "Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data".
15.Move the contents of "C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes\Data" to "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data".
16.Modify the "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data\notes.ini" file to reflect the following

KitType=1
Directory=.
InstallType=6
Mailserver=YOURMAILSERVER
17.Delete all other notes.ini instances if any is there.
18.Modify all Lotus Notes 6.5 shortcuts so that the Target reads like "C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes\notes.exe" "%Userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data\notes.ini" and the Start in like "%Userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data\"
19.If this is a fresh server installation you can customize the default user profile by adding a new user environment variable "Path"="%Userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data\" and leave Lotus Notes 6.5 shortcuts unchanged.

20.Finally edit the file "C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes\KeyView.ini" and modify the entry "Home=C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes\". This will tell notes where to find the programs to launch attachments.

Feature, Domino Enterprise Connection Services. Click Next.

1 เปลี่ยน path ของ Notes Data ไปที่ไหนได้
2 Copy data ไปที่ %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\lotus\notes
3 ย้าย notes.ini ที่ C:\windows ไปที่ %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\lotus\notes\data
